Fog! Like, is there a front to the boat? But it finally cleared – and we continued to Mathieson Channel. It is beautiful

This Inlet has extremely tall granite mountains on both sides of it. Spectacular!

We continued up to cross small rapids into Culpepper Lagoon. Tim had spoken to another captain and he said that no one goes there and it is stunning…we toured the Lagoon and decided that we would move on, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I liked how we had to curve around to enter the Lagoon.

We arrive at Rescue Bay after a 9 hour day…but, this does put us closer to tomorrow’s destination.

Another 6 hour day, but great scenery!

A fishery that some one has bought and they are rebuilding it – I think it would be a wonderful fishing resort…lots of land, and many buildings that all need repair – although there are people living there now.

And arriving in Khutze Inlet we are greeted with another beautiful waterfall

There was a large brown bear napping near the river – he had just eaten a seal – I will try to get a picture of him. He could care less if we were there or not.

After fueling up, we have headed out to Lowe Inlet. It has been a 6 hour day.

Here is the anchorage.

In front of us was a waterfall – salmon? going up stream to spawn?

Hope you can see the bear on the left of the water fall, watching him fish was great, even in the pouring rain.

After a long day of traveling,

(one of the many beautiful lighthouses we have seen – this is the Green Island Lighthouse)

we arrived in Port Rupert, Canada. Tim went up to call Customs and we were cleared by phone.

Here is where we are docked for the night.

The town sits on Cow Bay and the trash cans and street markers are painted in white and black as if they are cows.

A charming spot!

Dinner at the Breakwater Pub! Going out to eat always seems like a good idea…it is great to be out and not cooking, but we have learned that the food is not always why we are out.
