<p style="text-align: left;">
<p style="text-align: left;">It was a pleasant trip, about 27 miles up the St. Clair River to Port Huron. There weren&#8217;t any ships on the river and very few boats. It took 3 hours &#8211; we tied up in the same spot we were when we visited last September.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
<p style="text-align: left;">We really like this yacht club. It is run by the members &#8211; no employees. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. If you want a drink, a member goes behind the bar and makes it for you. And the prices are so cheap!!!!! It is an active racing club. The members that race a lot are given wells near the entrance to the St. Clair. Others are in another spot farther up the river.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Father&#8217;s Day</strong></p>

</div>
<p>We walked through part of the town of Port Huron. There are many old homes. Many are in beautiful condition, but there are a few that are falling apart.</p>
<div class="mceTemp">
<dl id="attachment_209" class="wp-caption alignright" style="width: 265px;">
<dt class="wp-caption-dt"><img class="size-medium wp-image-209" title="Victorian" src="http://www.seayorks.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/dscn0285-300x225.jpg" alt="Love the paint choices" width="255" height="195" /></dt>
</dl>
</div>
<p>As you walk down Military Street there are speakers that have a radio station playing. Some of the music was pretty good.</p>
<dl id="attachment_210" class="wp-caption alignleft" style="width: 283px;">
<dt class="wp-caption-dt"><img class="size-medium wp-image-210" title="Log Cabin" src="http://www.seayorks.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/dscn0288-300x225.jpg" alt="A Log Cabin at the Museum" width="273" height="205" /></dt>
</dl>
<p style="text-align: left;">We went to the Port Huron Main Museum. There really isn&#8217;t much there, but there was an exhibit about ships that have encountered difficulties on the Great Lakes (read that to mean: sank). Ships, I say, not pleasure craft. There was also a log cabin on the grounds; it will be open on the 27th, should you be in Port Huron.</p>
